My father passed away a few months ago. They are taking him back to Hawaii to scatter his ashes. I would like to be able to say goodbye to him in his native tongue. Does anyone know how to say "Goodbye Dad. I love you and miss you. You will always be in my heart". In Hawaiian? Or something close to that?

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I am not a fluent speaker of Hawaiian, but I am a student. I don't know how soon you need this translated; if you can wait, I can ask who is fluent to translate your words. If you can't wait, I am sure that the following is a close interpretation of your thoughts into Hawaiian:
Aloha 'oe (Farewell to you). Aloha wau 'iā 'oe (I love you); ā me (and) ha'o iā 'oe (I miss you). E ia nei (you [are] here) i ku'u manawa (in my heart) mai kēia manawa ā mau loa aku (from now to eternity; from now on and forever). Me ke aloha (with all my love) ...
Let me know if you need this to be spelled out phonetically, and I can send you that information.
