THOUSANDS of people from across the islands and in Ka`u have signed the petition to Save Punalu`u as a Living Classroom. With your continued help and support we can collect even more signatures before Dec. 22. To continue this effort, we will be holding weekly meetings at the Punalu`u Pavillions on Thursday, Dec. 7th, Dec. 14th and Dec. 21st @ 5:30 at the Punalu`u Pavillions. Come and join the effort! Everyone is welcome to come.
Ask your ohana, friends and co-workers to sign up to Save Punalu`u. Then mail all the signatures you have to our PO Box 472, Na`alehu, HI 96772 before Dec. 19th. We will be presenting all our signatures to the Hawaii County Planning Dept on Dec. 22 as part of our comments on the DEIS.

Send in your comments on the Developer's DEIS before Dec. 22nd. It is important that EVERYONE send in comments. You can download and review the Sea Mountain Draft Environmental Impact Statement by clicking on the link below. All comments must be post marked by Dec. 22 and sent to the address listed on our website (click on link below). Email us a copy of your comments and we will post them on the web.
Hundreds of individuals have sent in their comments. You can review some of the comments sent to the Planning Dept. and Developer by clicking on the link below.

Preview the soon to be released DVD, "PUNALU`U: A LIVING CLASSROOM" by clicking on the link below. We will be uploading segments of the film on the web. This segment is focused on Punalu`u as a CRITICAL HABITAT and features interviews with leading Biologists who have been studying the honu at Punalu`u for over thirty years.
The DVD will be released early next year, and thanks to a generous grant from the Hawai`i Community Foundation, we will be sending every school and library in the state of Hawai`i a complimentary copy.
